This friday Malac and I went with aunt Jess and Truxton to Aunt Lynn and Uncle Leonards for the relay for life kick off. It was lots of fun . We met Uncle Leonard at his house and he came bearing gifts of dinner! It was Yummy Pizza!!! Aunt Lynn left awesome gifts for everyone,(unfortunately I also for get to grab a few of em:( ) she is so very sweet and thoughtful. Then we headed out to the kick off party, and Jess and I came over prepared. Our strollers and bags and kids. We must have looked pretty silly. Truxton was so happy and Jess and Aunt Lynn both spoke, and both did an amazing job. It was fun to listen to them speak. Malac made sure mommy got her exercise chasing after him and feeding him grapes. But the funnest part of our trip (maybe just for Malac) was Malac sitting on Uncle Leonard's tractor. He loved it. He studied every inch and turned the steering wheel. He pet the tires and patted them good bye, even though he refused to leave. Unfortunately this was the only time the whole trip I remembered to pull out my camera. He's pretty cute though! Thanks Aunt Lynn and Uncle Leonard!

Farts!
Mr. Malac decided that he needed a bath to get squeakie clean. Unfortunately I don't think he came out as clean as when he went in. He figured out that if he squished the ducky on his tummy it would make farting noises. Once he started, he couldn't stop. He is all boy thinking bodily noises are soooo funny!
Whos kid is this?

Pretend
Malac has been really into pretending lately. It has been really fun to watch. He has parented to be mommy and tried to put her shoes on, he has pretended to be a pilot and fly airplanes in daddy's head phone, and controller, and he has pretended to use daddy's other headphones as a tool belt. He is pretty cute! On thing he didn't pretend on was, I had picked up a baby carrier for Nichole, and it had a picture of a baby on it. He took it and ran saying "baby". I asked where the baby was and he pointed to the box. He apparently thought there was a baby in the box for him not a baby carrier! He was very disappointed when I showed him there was no baby inside, only stuff!

Red Robin!

Tonight we went to dinner with my parents. We went to Red Robin. Yum Yum! It is certainly one of our favorites. It was a lot of fun to have dinner with them. It was really funny to watch them sing to Adam and Malac. Adam smiled politely, Malac looked thrilled one second and terrified the next, ending with a big grin. But as soon as the staff left, He wanted nothing to do with his ice cream. He after all had a tractor present that he wanted instead, and if your Malac tractors trump ice cream any day. Of course we all forgot are cameras, so there was no documenting of this fun occasion. Thanks mom and dad.

Happy Birthday!
Today was Mr. Malac's 2nd Birthday! I can hardly believe that i gave birth to a little 8 lb miracle 2 years ago. Now he has turned into a large opinionated, loud, independent 2 year old. I had a lot of fun getting ready for his party. I made a fun happy birthday sign and made 2 tractor birthday cakes. I also blew up lots of balloons. It was a lot of fun. But the best part of the day was seeing my little guy perk up. He wasn't feeling the best, and still had quite the runny nose.....We had a little party at Mamom and Papas house, but with all the bodies it sure felt like a big party. We had Pizza, one of Malac's Favorite. Of course he didn't eat a thing, but he did end up eating some cake! That's what all the black all over his face is. He wanted a bite of the tractor tire
. It was great having so many friends and family there, even if we didn't have them all. Malac loved spending time with his uncles. I think he loves not having to share the attention. One new goal I'd like to work on this year is sharing. Malac had a very difficult time sharing, it was all his, and no one could touch it. He wouldn't even give up his "sick" pillow so papa could buckle his seat belt. What a silly guy. He also got to talk on the phone with his Aunt Jess. He was thrilled! He said "JESS!" followed by a bunch of yeses and head nods, a Mamom, and ending with a bye. I was very impressed. We'll have to go visit. I am sure he misses his aunt Jess and uncle Dan and Truxton too.... Malac also spoke about his party and wanting a tractor, (in fact putting him to bed he yelled for his tractor) and when i told his all who was coming he repeated each name and spoke for a while about his uncle Joe, and Jake. I've decided that he is happiest not when he is getting things, or spending money or even having mommy and daddy time(although those are high on the list) He is Most excited when family and friends are all around.
The biggest thing I want to so is to say thank you to all who called and showed up, for all the help and love offered, and of course for the generosity shown, by family and friends. THANK YOU!!!
don't you just love the party hats, Audrey models so greatly for us. there John Deere hats!

POTTY
WOOHOOO!!!!
Were doing it! I was getting ready to change Malac's pants and he started taking them off, so i asked if he needed to go potty, thinking he would say no, but he said "sure!" So I put him on the potty and he sat like a frog, and he stopped and started several times. He even pushed really hard after he was empty because he didn't want to stop. We praised him like crazy! Then he got to pick a treat we just happened to have laying around,(thank goodness!) He was very proud of himself!!! I hope we can keep this up!!! It's so awesome. You think they make underwear for boys this tinny around the waist???!!!
(It's hard to see the light yellow with the flash but there is some in there. Most of it didn't make it in the potty because he wanted to sit like a frog, so most of it fell on the side & floor of the potty.)

Cleaning!
We Have been busy bees at our house. We have taken down all our Christmas decorations and boxed em back up, except for the outside lights, I want to but I just can't bare working in the cold, slippery, wet outside. We have been cleaning like mad and making up for slacking around the holidays. Doing lots and lots of laundry! We have even cleaned up the car. We have vacuumed up our house, in spots that is. Adam was so sweet to me and got me a new vacuum. A Dyson animal hair, had vac. It is awesome and works so amazing. It got lots of dog hair!! I love it.
I have also been very busy working on Malac's birthday cards. I made them my self, and am very proud of how they turned out. Malac requested a tractor party and has now been saying tractor party! He is very excited! I am too. It is coming up fast. I can't believe that all happened only 2 yrs ago. Time flies when your having fun!

New year
I am kinda lame and haven't been great at carrying my camera with me. But I just thought I would do some updating! We have kept busy. We have had lots of family stuck here in Yakima. It has been so fun, and busy, and of course with 18 people around it's loud. Malac of course loves every minute of it. If it's not obvious that every one is there, he is hollering, hi and what not, making sure someone is there.
For New Year we were at families house celebrating. The girls danced and sang with the kids songs from "Mama MIA" and then everyone played a few rounds of a game on the TV called BUZZ. It's a lot of fun everyone has a buzzer and races to answer fun questions. Even the kids love it. There was a lot of food and Malac had more then his share of blue berries. Adam and I took turns putting Malac to bed. But it didn't work, he got to stay up till 12 too.
I was able to get out and do some shopping with the girls at Macys, it was lots of fun. Then we got back and Malac was playing with his cousins in a box fort they built. I went over and stuck my head in and commented on how their boxes smelled like poop, pine trees, and smelly feet. The two older boys said "It's Malac!" so I pulled Malac out the little port hole and sure enough the blue berries returned! Malac was soaked, waste down in liquid poo, with little flex of blueberry skins. It made for a delightful evening! So our new year is off to an exciting start, Hows yours!?!?!
