Getting big

Today we all had the pleasure of visiting the boys doctor today. It was an adventure. We were there a few minutes early and walked in on a staff meeting in the waiting room so we got great service, as no one wanted to be in on the staff meeting. The boys did really well till the end. Neither wanted or liked getting shots. The doctor is putting Dax on rice cereal so it can weigh his food down and keep it form gurgling up, and also to keep him from wanting to eat so much. we'll keep on his special formula and on the baby zantac and then a mandatory 10 minutes 3 times a day on his tummy to make sure he strengthens his neck muscles, but he is right on track and healthy. Malac is excelling in speech and height but is right on with everything else. Were just glad for healthy boys.
Here are the stats:
Malac:
39.5 inches high
33 lbs
Dax:
25 inches high
13.9 lbs

little bird

Adam and Malac decided to be birds tonight with the gummy worms, what a hoot!

a bite

My sweet boy has tried a few times to "feed" me. I had no idea what he was feeding me. I was busy with his brother. I finely decided to listen and play along, as Malac was determined to "feed" me. He fed me arms, legs, body, skin, hair, eyes, bones. He finely led on he was feeding me a baby, so a baby could grow in my tummy. I find it amazing that through a screaming brother he still adores his baby, and he wants another.
If only the whole process start to finnish really were as easy as 3 year olds' really think it is.

poor baby

Well today we went to the doctor. we were desperate for a fix. and we found out what/ why / and how. Dax has reflux and we got meds for him. we hope it helps!

Malac, Happy Birthday!

Adam has to work this weekend installing his new servers at work and installing a bunch of stuff on the computers so we chose to celebrate tonight. It was a lot of fun Malac got to open up a lot a great gifts and play with his cousins, he LOVED it. He really loved his dinosaur, and on the way home he heard it roaring in the trunk and wanted it out. I made the tractor cake again this year, but i thought I would do it with sprinkles it didn't turn out as great, but you could see it was a tractor. He also got a great card from his cousin Truxton and LOVED it showed it off all day. I can't believe I have a 3 year old. When did that happen?!? Life flies by so fast. I feel so blessed to have such a great boy. Happy Birthday Malac!

big brother

Malac is such a great big brother. He REALLY enjoys "sharing" is little brothers toys. But Dax mostly just enjoys watching is big brother. Today I really needed a shower and had Malac watch Dax. I was super fast and when I got back to check on the boys I found Malac talking to Dax. He had put his birthday card from his aunt Jess on the mirror of his new toy, for dax to see and read, and part of his crane's tower as a bracelet on Dax's wrist. He did the sharing today.

What a blessing!

We have been greatly blessed with 2 wonderful boys. And the Sunday after Christmas we were blessed to have Dax blessed in church. What was also wonderful was that almost all of both our families were able to attend. My mom was even kind enough to share her talents and knit Dax's booties. Dax was quiet but alert the whole time. Adam gave a wonderful blessing and I am so happy to have such wonderful boys and great blessings.

Merry Christmas

We had a fun Christmas morning. The boys were the first up. Dax woke up after Malac woke up crying because he wasn't in the bed he fell asleep in but a slightly smaller bed, then both boys decided they were hungry so I took them up and fed them. Malac didn't notice that Santa had come but when he did he was so tired he just stopped and admired the gifts. then he came over to where I was feeding Dax saw all the stockings stuffed and said "What a Mess!" I have taught my boy well! any how it was a lot of fun opening gifts with family. After breakfast we headed to Sunnyside to visit my family. It was fun having another girl around , I am happy Jake had found such a wonderful someone special to spend eternity with. Malac had a blast with his grandparents and uncles too. Adam, Dax and I were so tired we fell asleep so Malac played with Uncle Joe. Of course we forgot to pull out the camera there but we did have a lot of fun. We mostly just enjoyed watching all the kids around us play all season. We even got to take all the kids to the Chipmunk movie. They didn't move a muscle the whole time they all loved it! Malac and his cousin Truxtin got along really well and played a lot, Malac only didn't like it when his cousins sat in the middle of his train table. Other then that we had a lot of fun being around everyone, we miss them all already!

updates

We've been busy at our house. Even after we were busy, I was busily awaiting a new charger cord for my laptop and it finely came today.

I thought I would show some pictures of our holiday business.

Here is Malac Adam, Dax and I went with Adam's brother and sister and their famlies and rode a train in Toppinish to the "North Pole" where we had our picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Afterwards we looked at all the train displays, it was really cool and much better then seeing Santa at the Mall.

Last is a picture of Adam and a co worker at their annual Christmas party. They always have a white elephant gift exchange, where there is a singing fish floating around and if you get it you get the pleasure of keeping it till next year where it is thrown back in the mix of gifts. This year there was a snuggie and a Gold's Gym Sauna suit. It was too funny we had to get a picture! Other wise it was a fun evening without the boys. His office worked on the new YV Tech building in Yakima so they had the party there instead of Gasperetti's to save a few bucks. The students made the dinner and I think it might have even been fancier food wise then Gasperetti's it was really yummy and the students did a great job. I wouldn't mind taking their classes and learning to cook like that! It was a lot of fun.
