Missing My Cow

My sweet husband had to leave yesterday on a business trip to Portland to learn a new program for architecture , he is learning the "how to fix the program" stuff. So tonight we skyped and I told Malac that we would talk to daddy on the computer, so right away he starts yelling and talking to Adam on his desk top that was turned off. It was too funny. We all sat down and talked to Adam for awhile on the skype and I loved it. Malac was so excited to see his daddy after talking about him all day, then he didn't say hardly anything. Now I think we all miss him even more. We love you Adam! Thanks for working so hard for us!

It's Official

We have a crawler! an hands and knees crawler. not just an army crawler. He is getting sooo fast. I can't believe it. And we also have a super hero, firefighter or what ever the mood strikes when he wears his super goggles, they are toy safety goggles for tools, but he adores them. And we adore them both!

Can't We get a Break!

Some days I just want to pack it all in and crawl back in bed. It seems that Fridays are those days. Since about the beginning of April we have been fighting eye, & ear infections, colds and runny noses. The boys have been on just about every antibiotic, and just about every Friday this past month has been spent at the doctors office(plus a few other days). So after 3 antibiotics, and a set of shots, Malac has fluid stuck in his ears that won't drain, because of an underdeveloped tube. And with every cold he gets, the ears get infected. And when it's not infected it's just sitting there causing discomfort. So we are being referred to a specialist to get tubes put in. Dax is also having the same issues, just a few weeks less. Also because of Dax's young age tubes are not recommended so we will continue to fight the fight, of battling ear infections with every cold, until he too can get tubes or it all some how miraculously goes away. (you don't realize how many colds kids get until everyone sets off a chain reaction.) It's so frustrating. For me because of all the doctor apts., co-pays, the crying, feeling like a pharmacist dealing out all the drugs, seeing the dry blood from them digging in their ears from the pain, and just the knowledge of knowing they are in pain, and other then some Motrin I can't do a darn thing about it. I know it must be frustrating for them too, all these meds in them that taste yucky, being told if they take the medicine they will feel better but they don't, as soon as they do feel better, they are sick again, going to see doctors instead of playing at the park. That's no way to be a kid....(sigh) ... Sorry for the long boring post, I just needed a vent, most mostly to just talk it out, I think I am more scared and frustrated then they are.

Posing

The boys and I were sitting on the floor playing, and the dogs got jealous, and had to play too, soon it looked like a photo pose, so Adam grabbed the camera. Of course by that time every one was starting to disperse, but we got them back together for some pictures, They turned out pretty cute.

On a side note, While getting ready for church nothing fit my five month old Dax so I had to pull out the 9-12 month clothes. SCARY! Adam asked me the other day how WE could breed such giants! Dax is also up on all fours, all he has to do to crawl now is move.

I was so excited! and even more excited when he let me put it together! It is GORGEOUS! a little larger then i thought it was though, oh well! Then today after church we went to George & Kathi's they had dinner made and it was yummy. Then My sweet husband and boys had more gifts waiting. Lots of garden stuff for me to attempt a new garden again, and some wall decals I picked out and a Beautiful ruby with a diamond neckless. I love it. It was such a wonderful birthday! Tent Time

We put the tent up for Malac to play in, as we are not real campers, It has kept him so busy! He invites everyone in it as if the whole world could fit in it. I don't think he can wait till Dax can play with him all alone. Malac has had lots of fun, and a lot of that was with his daddy, and his Iron man. He is happy as long as Dax isn't chewing on his Iron man. Malac also found out after a very sleepless night he has a ear infection from his cold. So needless to say it has been lots of fun at our home!
